Pyrodust is a finely ground dust which contains pyrethrin. It can be used indoors and outdoors. The easy squeeze bottle comes with a crack and crevice applicator tip that allows the dust to be applied in hard to reach spaces. This dust can also be used with a Eaton Geotz Duster, also called a mechanical duster. Pyrodust also provides a low toxicity solution for the control of insects and the fight against bed bugs.
The main purpose of this dust to to use it where the dust will not be disturbed. Once the insect is coated in the dust, it will die shortly thereafter. Pyrodust should be used with cracks and crevices. The dust will flow into areas where residual insecticides will not reach.
Pyrodust must be applied as finely as dust accumulating on a table. Insects will not walk through a mound of dust. The dust must get on their bodies for them to later groom themselves. Once the insect does so, they will ingest the dust it will kill the bug.
